RAFF Military Textile Set to Strengthen Its Presence in Africa at SYSDEF 2025

Date:

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – From May 8 to 10, 2025, the capital city of Ouagadougou will host the Salon International de la Défense et de la Sécurité (SYSDEF 2025), one of West Africa’s most prominent events in the defense and security sector. Among the Turkish companies participating this year, Raff Military Textile stands out as a long-established manufacturer with deep expertise in supplying operational solutions for security forces.

A Strong Signature in West Africa: Raff Military Textile

Established in the 1940s, Raff Military Textile has been manufacturing military uniforms, protective garments, tactical gear, and mission-specific equipment for decades. With a long-standing presence across the African continent, the company offers field-ready solutions that are adapted to both the climate and operational needs of regional forces.

Raff Military Textile’s approach goes far beyond exporting products. Its strategy focuses on long-term partnerships built on sustainability, mutual trust, and knowledge sharing.

Eray Yükseloğlu, CEO of the company, stated:

We are proud to participate in SYSDEF 2025. Our aim is to further deepen our strong ties with Africa by offering robust and tailored solutions for local forces.

Alongside Raff Military Textile, the Turkish national pavilion will feature some of the country’s top defense giants: Aselsan, ASFAT, Baykar, Havelsan, MKE, Nurol, Otokar, Roketsan, and Sarsılmaz.

These companies showcase Turkey’s engineering excellence and high-capacity production in the defense sector.

Within this powerful ecosystem, Raff Military Textile plays a key role as a specialized provider of uniforms, tactical gear, and mission-focused solutions for military and security institutions.

A Vision of Strategic Partnership and Local Engagement

Repkon–Raff Partnership: A New Phase in Firearms Export to Africa

Another key development being presented at this year’s event is the strategic partnership between Repkon and Raff Military Textile.

This collaboration is focused on expanding the export of firearms and ammunition systems to African markets. Combining Repkon’s advanced engineering with Raff’s operational field experience, the two firms are offering next-generation solutions tailored for the region’s evolving defense needs.

This alliance marks a significant step in Turkey’s growing presence in Africa—not only in uniform and gear supply, but also in the delivery of cutting-edge defense technologies.
